About Us
As someone passionate about the hues that make up the human experience –especially language-related content–, spotting and bringing into play linguistic possibilities for clients from different industries is Oliveiras Translations’ mission.
Hello! I’m Keli, the Brazilian linguist behind the Oliveiras Translations’ scenes. Despite being a translator and proofreader since 2020 and a teacher since 2015, my passion for languages and cultures is older: since a kid, I was curious and fascinated by details compounding communication among people from different places of Brazil and abroad.
Cartoons, films, books, native and foreign people: realizing the world with so many multiple and diverse linguistic and cultural codes had fascinated me, which led me to learn languages –I had studied some languages, but nowadays I am working with Portuguese, English and French.
Proudly I keep on my language pathway: an undergraduate on Modern Languages (Portuguese and French habilitation) at Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) University and a lato sensu postgraduate certificate in Translation of English at Estácio de Sá University.
Apart from academic studies, constantly looking for enhancements is pivotal in CPDs, such as courses, events and networking, obtaining deeper knowledge to brighten YOUR content.
Words are powerful, and the art of using them accordingly causes text to bloom and to bear fruits beyond expectations, captivating eyes, opportunities and business.
